WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND ITS SOFTWARE UPGRADE METHOD

The present invention provides a wireless communication terminal and its software upgrade method. The method includes: a server transmits a short message to the wireless communication terminal using Sim Tool Kit (STK) peer to peer short message download function of Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card when judging there is available update content; the wireless communication terminal triggers update operation according to the received short message and implements the software upgrade of the wireless communication terminal. All the upgrade operations of the present invention is transparent for the users; both updating information of the users and transmitting update prompt are implemented automatically by the server of the operator, and updating uniform resource locator (URL) is implemented automatically by STK function, thus being beneficial to reduce human cost of the operator and misoperation of the users.
