<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly warm up an exhaust gas purification device by increasing the voltage of supply power to an EHC while avoiding discharge at the EHC in a condition that generates or may generate condensed water arising from water vapor included in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: When determined that dew condensation may be generated in first or second EHC, electric power is supplied to each of the first EHC and the second EHC at a relatively low voltage. When it is determined that dew condensation cannot be generated in the first EHC or the second EHC, and when it is determined that electric power should be supplied to the first or second EHC, electric power is supplied to the first and/or second EHC at a relatively high voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
