<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let drivers easily grasp the content of a displayed sentence. <P>SOLUTION: When a line of sight retention time determination part 7 determines that what is happening is a case of momentary visual recognition, a display control part 8 displays a sentence comprised of a plurality of characters including some specific characters on a display screen 9 by switching from a basic display embodiment wherein the specific characters and other non-specific characters are displayed altogether in the same embodiment to a modulation display embodiment wherein the specific characters are displayed by emphasis stronger than in the basic display embodiment. In this modulation display embodiment, the display control part 8 displays the specific characters in a display mode in proportion to the ratio of the specific characters so that the lower the ratio is of the number of specific characters against the total number of characters in a sentence, the stronger the specific characters are displayed by emphasis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
