<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which simultaneously displays images photographed by a main imaging optical system and an auxiliary imaging optical system at a display part, reduces the feeling of incompatibility of screen display by suppressing deviation of display timing in simultaneous display, and is suitable for photographing a dynamic body or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: a main imaging optical system for photographing images; an auxiliary imaging optical system for photographing images to assist photography by the main imaging optical system; and display means capable of simultaneously executing monitoring display of images photographed by the main imaging optical system and images photographed by the auxiliary imaging optical system. One or both of a frame rate of output image signals from the main imaging optical system and a frame rate of output image signals from the auxiliary imaging optical system are converted so that they become the same, and the photographed images of the main imaging optical system and the auxiliary imaging optical system are simultaneously displayed at the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
