<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a calculation of a bilateral filter by hardware processing in a relatively small circuit size. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: a LUT 3-1 and a LUT 3-2, each of which stores a value of an exponential function part that corresponds to a difference absolute value between a pixel value of a pixel of interest and a pixel value of a neighboring pixel; a calculation circuit 2 that calculates the difference absolute value between the pixel value of the pixel of interest and the pixel value of the neighboring pixel; and a calculation circuit 4 that calculates the pixel value of the pixel of interest after having been subjected to filtering by a bilateral filter on the basis of the value of the exponential function part stored in the LUT 3-1 and the LUT 3-2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
