<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection method and ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus capable of simply improving inspection accuracy with a simple apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic flaw detection method is the method using an ultrasonic flaw detection apparatus which includes: a sensor unit 2 that holds ultrasonic probes 7, 8; and a unit support 3 that holds the sensor unit and is fixed to an inspection surface, in which the sensor unit is detachable from the unit support.
