<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of a factor by taking into consideration a vibration source vibrating due to image forming processing of an image forming apparatus and specifying the factor lowering a data transfer speed to a storage device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus for driving a driving member to perform image forming processing includes storing means for storing data, measuring means for measuring the number of retrying times occurring when transferring data for image formation to the storing means during executing the image forming processing, specifying means for specifying the number of retrying times occurring when transferring predetermined data to the storing means with the operation of the driving member stopped, and notifying means for notifying a factor of a deterioration in a data transfer speed to the storing means according to the number of retrying times measured by the measuring means and the number of retrying times specified by the specifying means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
