摘要 Recently, the importance of green industries for saving energy has been increasing. All countries of the world are concentrating on increasing the supply of LED lights to achieve greater efficiency of lights such as traffic lights and other types of lights, which may be the largest energy-consuming lights throughout the whole industrial field. As LED lamps are driven by direct current power, a switching mode power supply (SMPS) which is known for having relatively high efficiency as an LED-driving power supply is widely used. However, the SMPS has an efficiency of 70% to 90% no matter how highly efficient the SMPS may be. Furthermore, the SMPS basically has a low power factor and significant noise, and a noise filter circuit and a power factor correction circuit may be needed to improve the two characteristics of low power factor and significant noise, thus increasing costs and decreasing efficiency and space utilization efficiency. to the LED light of the present invention ensures a power factor of 92% or higher and efficiency of 96% or higher without using an additional noise removing circuit or power factor correction circuit, and which operates within an upper limit level for power consumption set by a manufacturer even when an alternating current (AC) input voltage exceeds a rated voltage by 10% or more, thus achieving reduced energy consumption and high reliability of the LED light. In addition, the LED light of the present invention is equipped with a current-limiting circuit adopting a switching system, and therefore, the amount of energy use of the LED light may be maintained constant even when a number of LEDs among a plurality of LEDs connected to a matrix are shorted, thus significantly improving the useful life of the LED light. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a method for easily changing the brightness of the LED light.
