PURPOSE: A continuous Be-Cu casting apparatus is provided to completely open and close a molten metal transfer path with a stop bar without leakage of molten metal or contact between the molten metal and exterior air. CONSTITUTION: A continuous Be-Cu casting apparatus comprises a melting furnace(10), an insulating furnace(30), a horizontal molten metal transfer path, a vertical molten metal transfer path, and a stop bar(70). The molten metal produced by the melting furnace is transferred to the insulating furnace trough a discharge path(14). The horizontal molten metal transfer path is connected to the inner side of a horizontal transfer pipe(61) installed at one side of the discharge path of the melting furnace. The vertical molten metal transfer path is connected to the inner side of a vertical transfer pipe(80) connected to the insulating furnace. The stop bar is installed in the horizontal molten metal transfer path and moved back and forth by an operating cylinder(73), thereby opening and closing an outlet connected to the vertical molten metal transfer path. The horizontal transfer pipe is cooled or heated through a cooling and heating pipe and the molten metal in the horizontal molten metal transfer path is cooled, hardened, or molten.
