PURPOSE: A balcony railing structure for a building is provided to prevent fall accidents by preventing an upper rail from shaking when a balcony railing is open. CONSTITUTION: A balcony railing structure for a building is comprised as follows. A railing lower rail(34) of a balcony railing(30) is extended to both sides of a railing opening(32). Telescopic pipes(60) are installed in the centers of balusters(36) of the balcony railing. A position fixing hole is formed on the bottom end of each baluster. The upper pipe(63) of each telescopic pipe drawn out of the baluster is inserted into the position fixing hole. A door locking hole(47) is formed on the top surface of a door upper rail(46) of each railing door(40). A door latch(72) is installed in the flange(70) of the upper pipe of each telescopic pipe and is inserted into the door locking hole. A latching piece is installed in a door lower rail of each railing door and is hung on the railing lower rail.
