<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature detection device which allows a temperature detection circuit and an insulation element to be formed on the same substrate, thereby facilitating downsizing of the whole device. <P>SOLUTION: A temperature detection circuit 200 includes an AD converter circuit 44 converting a temperature detected by a temperature sensor 35 to a digital value, and a digital comparator circuit 45. An output from the digital comparator circuit 45 is input to an insulation transformer circuit 101 via a first pulse generator 52 and a second pulse generator 53. The pulse signal is transferred to a signal demodulation circuit 102 by an induction current generated by the insulation transformer circuit 101. Further, when a temperature detected by the temperature sensor 35 exceeds a limit temperature, a pulse signal is generated from a comparator 49 and transferred to the signal demodulation circuit 102 in the same manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
