The pleated satin is wrapped under a liner (14) for obtaining a wrapped pleated satin, where the liner is made of leather, reconstituted leather, plastic/synthetic material or rubber. The wrapped pleated satin is fixed to the liner by fastening and/or seaming and/or gluing. The pleated satin provides less static aspect to the strap and an impression of lightness to the watch, even if the strap allows adjustments similar to adjustments of an existing strap.
