<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for informing a servier that control is completed without requiring authentication processing when an information processing apparatus is requested by the server to perform control. <P>SOLUTION: In an information processing system, a server 102 on succeeding in authentication using authentication information from a Web browser 420 of an MFP 101 generates a session ID, adds the session ID to screen information, and transmits them to the Web browser 420. The Web browser 420 accepts an operation through an operation screen displayed based upon the screen information received from the server 102, and transmits operation details thereof to the server 102. The server 102 transmits a request for execution of a job corresponding to the operation details to a service provider 430 of the MFP 101 together with specification of the session ID. The service provider 430 adds the session ID to completion information representing an execution result and transmits them to the server 102 once the execution of the job is completed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
