<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for cleaning an exhaust gas with a high low-temperature activity and excellent heat resistance capable of obtaining a stable exhaust gas cleaning performance. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for cleaning the exhaust gas comprises a composite oxide represented by a general formula: (La<SB POS="POST">a-x</SB>M<SB POS="POST">x</SB>)(Si<SB POS="POST">6-y</SB>N<SB POS="POST">y</SB>)O<SB POS="POST">27-z</SB>(wherein M represents cation of Pr, N represents cation of Fe, 8≤a≤10, 0.01≤x≤5, 0≤y≤3 and 0≤z≤2); and a precious metal component dissolved as a solid solution in the composite oxide or carried on the composite oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
