PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a circuit scale and maintain high operation efficiency during a stand-by mode in a power supply system.

SOLUTION: A power supply system supplying power voltage to a main operation part (3) receiving the power voltage and operating includes: a power supply part (1) outputting the power voltage; a power supply line (5) to which the power voltage is provided; a charge holding part (7) connecting with the power supply line (5) and holding electric charges; and a power source operation control part (2) controlling the power supply part (1) so as to stop the output of the power voltage until the voltage of the power supply line (5) becomes a first threshold value when the voltage of the power supply line (5) becomes a second threshold value or higher while controlling the power supply part (1) so as to output the power voltage until the voltage of the power supply line (5) becomes the second threshold value, which is larger than the first threshold value, when the voltage of the power supply line (5) becomes the first threshold value or lower during the standby mode where the operation of the main operation part (3) is stopped.
