<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively use an unused toner or a used toner depending on contents of a print image. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a used toner that is remained on a photoreceptor and collected through a printing process, an unused toner that is newly supplied through the printing process, and determination means that determines a type of image data to be newly printed.
