METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WELDED JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a welded joint in which a projection part to secure a root gap while keeping a weld quality can be formed at low cost in a short time.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a welded joint includes: a formation process in which one or two or more projection parts GT are formed at a groove surface 10a of a member to be welded 10; and a welding process in which the member to be welded 10 and a member to be welded 11 are welded while making the groove surface 10a of the member to be welded 10 oppose a groove surface 11a of the member to be welded 11. It is desirable to form the projection parts GT by piling a hot charge by welding in the formation process or it is desirable to interpose the hot charge at the groove surface 10a.
