摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper stay fitting structure which can transmit a load inputted from a bumper reinforcement to a bumper stay to the lower side of the back end of a rear side member in a concentrated manner via a load transmitting member so as to obtain a desired load-transmitted state. <P>SOLUTION: A box-shaped projection 60 projected into the rear side of a vehicle is arranged on the load transmitting member 12. Since the projection is inserted into the opening of the bumper stay 14, the rigidity of the load transmitting member 12 itself is increased. When the rear face collision of the vehicle occurs, the projection 60 is also deformed and a large load is surely transmitted to the rear side member 16 via the load transmitting member 12. Since the sidewall 62 of the projection 60 of the load transmitting member 12 has a U-shaped cross section and the upper side of the vehicle is opened, the rigidity of the lower side where the sidewalls 62 are continuously present is increased particularly and the load is transmitted to the lower side of the rear end of the rear side member 16 in a concentrated manner to more surely obtain the desired load-transmitted state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
