<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling installed speaker system which, without limiting the type of luminaire to be combined, does not normally cause a peak dip in its sound pressure frequency characteristics irrespective of whether the listener stays in a standing or a seated position and regardless of which angle direction of the circumferential direction the listener stays in, and a luminaire using the speaker system. <P>SOLUTION: The speaker system comprises a cabinet which includes a fitting face part forming a conical or a pyramid surface between a top surface and a bottom surface part and a plurality of speakers which are installed on the fitting face part of the cabinet. The plural speakers each have a slender and flat shaped diaphragm which is placed along the fitting face part. The slender and flat shaped diaphragm is disposed so that the top surface and bottom surface part sides constitute its major axis direction and a direction circling the conical or the pyramid surface of the fitting face part constitutes its minor axis direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
