<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a ready-to-win state of a game machine. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine 1 includes a special symbol display device 53 in which a composite symbol configured by combining a character symbol 67 displaying a prescribed meaning and a numeral symbol 69 displaying a prescribed numerical value is varied and then stopped on a screen and which expresses whether or not it is a big winning.
