<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a mobile communication terminal to access a mobile communication network for a longer time. <P>SOLUTION: A first communication section (11) constituting a mobile communication terminal (10) performs wireless communication with a base station connected to a mobile communication network. A second communication section (12) performs wireless communication with one or more other mobile communication terminals capable of wireless communication with the base station at a lower power than the communication section (11). A control section (14) causes the communication section (12) to acquire the remaining amount of battery of the other mobile communication terminals. If the remaining amount of the battery of the own terminal (10) is the largest, the control section (14) causes the communication sections (11, 12) to relay traffic between each of the other mobile communication terminals and the base station. Otherwise, the control section (14) stops the operation of the communication section (11), and causes the communication section (12) to perform wireless communication with the mobile communication terminal that has the largest remaining amount of the battery of the other mobile communication terminals such that the mobile communication terminal relays traffic between the own terminal (10) and the base station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
