<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clock capable of efficiently receiving a satellite signal to reduce power consumption, and displaying exact time. <P>SOLUTION: A wrist watch 1 with a GPS includes: a satellite signal reception part 10A which receives a satellite signal; automatic reception means 24 for receiving a satellite signal by actuating the satellite signal reception part 10A to acquire time information included in the satellite signal; a time information correction part 25 which counts time, and corrects the counted time by the time information acquired by the automatic reception means 24; a reception result storage part 313 which stores a reception result of reception processing by the automatic reception means 24; and reception time setting means 21 for setting reception start time for starting the reception processing based on the reception result stored in the reception result storage part 313.
