<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of improving probability of possibility of proxy response without increasing storage capacity of a proxy response part. <P>SOLUTION: An MFP 1 comprises a communication part 21 including: a normal response part 22 which responds to an SNMP request in a normal mode, and electrification of which is stopped in a sleep mode; a proxy response part 23 which performs proxy response in the case of receiving the SNMP request in the sleep mode; and a setting part 26 for making the proxy response part 23 store an object ID, which is hold by the SNMP request received in the normal mode, mapped to information responded by the normal response part 22, when it is determined that setting of the proxy response is performed. When receiving an SNMP request having the set object ID in the sleep mode, the proxy response part 23 performs the proxy response by using the stored information mapped to the object ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
