<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support system capable of supporting to avoid a collision with an object while reducing unpleasant sensation given to a driver when controlling to avoid the collision with objects such as plural pedestrians. <P>SOLUTION: A drive support ECU1 generates vehicle traveling course feature points based on possibility of collision of own vehicle with pedestrians or the like, and generates a vehicle traveling course based on the traveling course feature points. On the other hand, the drive support ECU1 generates an own movement course representing changes of speed of own vehicle to support the control based on a difference between the vehicle traveling course and the own movement course. When generating the traveling course feature points, the drive support ECU1 corrects the traveling course feature points based on environment movement information to reduce an unpleasant sensation given to a driver even when plural pedestrians are detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
