<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite type alarm unit which has a thin outward appearance and makes a good response. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm unit includes: a case C which allows gas to be detected to flow in and also allows smoke to flow in from an outer peripheral part; a gas sensor 7 which can detect the gas to be detected having flowed in the case C; a photoelectric smoke sensor 6 which has a light emission part 61 and a light reception part 62, and detects smoke having flowed in the case C; and a battery storage part 42 which houses a battery. The gas sensor 7, smoke sensor 6, and battery storage part 42 are arranged in the case C such that occupation ranges thereof in a thickness direction of the case C overlap with one another in a state in which the gas sensor 7 is positioned for the smoke sensor 6 on one of the back side of the light emission part 61 and the back side of the light reception part 62 with respect to the center of the smoke sensor 6, and in a state in which the battery storage part 42 is positioned for the smoke sensor 6 on one of the back side of the light emission part 61 and the back side of the light reception part 62 with respect to the center of the smoke sensor 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
