<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of distributing air in an appropriate volume to each room to be air-conditioned. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes an air volume setting means that includes the following determining means and correcting means. The determining means determines, with respect to a room to be air-conditioned where a cooling operation is carried out, that the air-conditioning system is in an excess capacity state when a room temperature detected in the room to be air-conditioned is lower than a preset room temperature and determines that the system is in an insufficient capacity state when the detected room temperature is higher than the preset room temperature; and with respect to the room to be air-conditioned where a heating operation is carried out, the determining means determines that the system is in an excess capacity state when the room temperature detected in the room to be air-conditioned is higher than a preset temperature and determines that the system is in an insufficient capacity state when the detected room temperature is lower than the preset room temperature. The correcting means corrects the air-conditioning system to decrease an individual requested air volume that is preset for the room to be air-conditioned where an excess capacity state of the system is determined by the above determining means, and corrects the system to increase an individual requested air volume that is preset for the room to be air-conditioned where an insufficient capacity state of the system is determined by the above determining means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
