<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve shared use of components in order to correspond to both a vehicle body structure with doors and a vehicle body structure without doors while maintaining the rigidity of a divided part when a side outer panel is divided into the side outer front part and the side outer rear part. <P>SOLUTION: The rear part 1a of a side panel outer center upper 1 extending in the vehicle body front-rear direction above the vehicle body side is disposed at the vehicle body inside of the front part 3a of a side panel outer rear upper 3 and joined together while being superposed on each other.
