PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a redox fuel cell system that improves energy efficiency.

SOLUTION: A redox fuel cell system includes: a redox fuel cell 2 for supplying a fuel gas Gfu to an anode 2d and a cathode solution Lca to a cathode 2b to generate power; a fuel gas tank 11 for storing the fuel gas Gfu; a cathode solution regeneration device 32 for oxidizing the cathode solution Lca with an oxidizer Gox to regenerate the cathode solution; a fuel gas supply path 16a etc. for supplying the fuel gas Gfu from the fuel gas tank 11 to the anode 2d; a cathode solution circulation path 35a etc. for circulating the cathode solution Lca between the cathode solution regeneration device 32 and the cathode 2b; an oxidizer supply path 24a etc. for supplying the oxidizer Gox to the cathode solution regeneration device 32; and pressure means 3 for supplying the oxidizer Gox into the cathode solution regeneration device 32 by pressuring the oxidizer Gox with a pressure of the fuel gas Gfu before being supplied to the anode 2d to pressure the cathode solution Lca to circulate between the cathode solution regeneration device 32 and the cathode 2b.
