<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care article which reduces stress of a horse, particularly a race horse for a horse race supposed to be stressed, or a race horse for horsemanship, has an aromatherapy effect such as relaxing the horse, and in which improvement of prevention of injury and result of a horse race or the like can be expected, and to provide a method for care. <P>SOLUTION: This aqueous coating composition for horses contains fragrances and extracts of crude drugs and a water-soluble polymer as a base material.
