<p>Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for monitoring a short message, comprising: for short messages containing consecutive digit sequences, first determining a sender of a short message containing digit information exceeding a certain length, then when the total number of short messages sent by the sender during the duration of a monitoring period reaches a set value, further determining whether the ratio of the number of short messages sent by the sender and containing digit information exceeding a certain length to the total number of short messages sent by the sender reaches a set ratio during the duration of the monitoring period; if yes, determining that the sender is a spam short message sender, so that on the basis of comprehensive and precise recognition of spam short messages of the consecutive digit sequence type, a sender sending spam short messages of the consecutive digit sequence type can be recognized and screened, thereby improving the precision of recognition and screening of spam short message senders.</p> |
