#CMT# #/CMT# The branching technique involves determining travel direction of a vehicle, where the travel direction is preselected by the rotation of a signal arm that is provided with a guide element. The guide element in an end position of the rotation of the signal arm comes into contact with a guide that is fixed lateral to the travel way, e.g. rolling movement of the rollers on guiderail.
