<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder for a separator to compose a non-aqueous electrolyte battery of improved heat resistance, a separator using the same and a non-aqueous electrolyte battery equipped with the separator. <P>SOLUTION: A binder for a separator of a non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes at least 2-cyanoethyl group containing polymer that has molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of 6 or less, which is a ratio between a weight average molecular weight (Mw) and a number average molecular weight (Mn), and that has a percentage of 30 mass% or less in a low molecular weight region in which a weight average molecular weight (Mw) is 50,000-1,000,000 and a molecule weight is 30,000 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
