<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer performing an operation for reducing vibration of a drying tub. <P>SOLUTION: A dryer includes: a drying tub; an air supply system supplying dry air for drying clothing to the drying tub; a rotating element having a support portion supporting the clothing within the drying tub and a protrusion protruding with respect to the support portion; a drive unit causing the rotating element to rotate alternately in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction; a sensor element sensing vibration of the drying tub; and a control device controlling the drive unit in a first control mode when the vibration of the drying tub is lower than a threshold value determined for the vibration, and controlling the drive unit in a second control mode different from the first control mode when the vibration of the drying tub is greater than the threshold value. In an operation cycle in which the rotating element is rotated in the first direction and the second direction, the drive unit controlled in the second control mode causes the rotating element to rotate by a workload less than that of the drive unit controlled in the first control mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
