<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which suppresses the occurrence of luminance unevenness due to voltage drop and the deterioration of luminance due to an auxiliary wire, and provide a method for easily manufacturing the light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A conductive layer serving as an auxiliary wire is disposed below a first electrode with a first insulation layer interposed therebetween, and the conductive layer is electrically connected to a second electrode via an opening provided for the first insulation layer and the first electrode. To prevent the first electrode and the second electrode from being in direct contact with each other in the opening, a second insulation layer is provided on a side wall of the opening. By depositing an EL layer with a deposition substrate tilted from a deposition source, the second insulation layer serves as a barrier, so that a region where the EL layer is not deposited and the conductive layer is exposed is formed in a self-aligning manner in a part of the opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
