<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, a processing method of the image forming apparatus and a program for the image forming apparatus capable of composing image data of a document or the like maintaining as readable the document or the like as possible, with image data indicating an advertisement target product. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: storage means for holding first image data used for an image composition; acquisition means for acquiring second image data which is a candidate target for the image composition; extraction means for extracting an image area from among the second image data; determination means for determining a state of the image area extracted from the extraction means, and determining, on the basis of the determined state, whether the first image data can be composed in the extracted image area; and image generation means for responding to a determination by the determination means that the composition is available, and composing the first image data on the image area of the second image data to generate a composite image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
