<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to easily switch validation and nullification of a filter function. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus 1 includes: filter circuit boards 25A and 25B on which filter circuits 251A and 251B are provided for reducing conduction of noise generated in a switching element 241 to an AC power source 2; a housing 10 in which a body part 20 having a plurality of electronic components including the filter substrates 25A and 25B is disposed at the front side of a housing base 11 and an air duct part through which cooling air is ventilated is disposed at the rear side of the housing base 11; and filter switches 26A and 26B that can switch conduction and cut-off between the filter circuits 251A and 251B and the housing 10.
