<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing an elevator, by which a period for repairing the elevator can be shortened while making the operating life of the elevator longer, and to provide the elevator. <P>SOLUTION: Upon repairing a hydraulic elevator, a driving part 3 of the hydraulic elevator including a hydraulic jack 4, a deflector wheel 5 and a driving rope 16 is removed, so as to provide an equipment-installation space 31 between an ascent/descent pathway of a car 2 and the wall of the hoist way 1. Also, a car-suspension beam 13 attached to the car 2 is detached. Subsequently, a hoist 32 is installed in the equipment-installation space 31, and a car-suspension sheave device 34 comprising a pair of car-suspension sheaves 33 is installed underneath the car 2. Thereafter, a main rope 35 is wound around the car-suspension sheaves 33 and a rope sheave 32a of the hoist 32 respectively so as to pass underneath the car 2, thereby suspending the car 2 with the main rope 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
