<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pixel unevenness caused by heat in a pixel region of an imaging element. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging element mounting member 1 includes a base substance 11 having an upper surface 11a and a lower surface 11b. The upper surface 11a of the base substance 11 has a mounting region 11c for an imaging element 2 having a pixel region 2a and an output circuit region 2b. The mounting region 11c has a first region 11c<SB POS="POST">1</SB>corresponding to the pixel region 2a and a second region 11c<SB POS="POST">2</SB>corresponding to the output circuit region 2b.
