<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the temperature adjustment range of jetted air to space targeted for air conditioning when operated for dehumidification. <P>SOLUTION: In a first dehumidification mode, where a second refrigerant passage 16 and bypass passage 22 are both in an open state or a closed state, an outdoor heat exchanger 15 and indoor evaporator 20 are connected in series against the flow of refrigerants to form a refrigerant passage. Moreover, when operated in a second dehumidification heating mode, an outdoor heat exchanger 15 and indoor evaporator 20 are connected in parallel against the flow of refrigerants to form a refrigerant passage. In the first dehumidification mode, heat exchange capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger 15 with the open air can be adjusted by changing the opening area of a first refrigerant passage 13 and a third refrigerant passage 18. Thereby, the refrigerant heat release extent of an indoor condenser 12 and the refrigerant endothermic energy amount of the indoor evaporator 20 can be adjusted, thereby enabling dehumidificaiton of jetted air that spouts into the inside of a car, and adjustment of temperature for a wide range from low temperature to high temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
