<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greenhouse gas emission allowance purchase system with which the greenhouse gas emission allowance of consumables can be easily purchased, an image forming apparatus using the system, a greenhouse gas emission allowance purchase method, and a display device used for the purchase of a greenhouse gas emission allowance. <P>SOLUTION: The greenhouse gas emission allowance purchase system of the image forming apparatus 1 includes: a function to detect consumable information; a function to store the consumable information; a function to discriminate consumables; a function to decide a consumable replacement timing; a function to send to the image forming apparatus 1 message information to encourage the purchase of a greenhouse gas emission allowance, information of a greenhouse gas emission amount, and information of a plurality of offset providers; a function to display the message information to encourage a user to purchase a greenhouse gas emission allowance, the information of the greenhouse gas emission amount, and the information of the plurality of offset providers on the image forming apparatus 1; and a function to send the selected offset provider information to a data management server 701. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
