<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit which allows the appearance of a drain pan to be confirmed sufficiently and easily without unit disassembly. <P>SOLUTION: The indoor unit includes an inspection window 4 provided at a position that can visually observe the vicinity of a suction port 3a of a drain pump 3 on a sidewall 2a of a drain pan 2 arranged below a heat exchanger. The inspection window 4 has a double window structure in which an internal window 6 formed of a transparent plate material and an external window 7 formed of the transparent plate material are arranged to face each other and sandwich an air layer 8 therebetween.
