METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PREDICTING SEARCH TYPES FOR THE INTERNET OF THINGS

The method involves estimating a distribution value of searched objects (21-37) using a calculating unit. Probabilities of search types of search requests are calculated from search types of previous search requests. The calculated probabilities of the search types of the search requests are weighted by using a weighting unit, where the previous search requests have a request identifier similar to that of the search requests. The previous search requests are retrieved from an internal database or from intelligent sub-spaces (2-4) located near a search request initiator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for predicting a search type for an object search request on an internet (2) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for predicting a search type for an object search request on an internet.
