Described herein are systems and methods for managing bookings of appointment services, such as medical (e.g. general practitioner visits), personal (e.g. massage), home (e.g. tradespersons) and beauty (e.g. hair and makeup) services. The focus of various embodiments provided herein is the provision of functionality, via computer software and hardware, to enable a user to identify and book an appointment from one of a plurality of service providers across a plurality of appointment types.
