Arc welding torch (1) comprises a contact nozzle (2) contacted with a welding wire (3) fusible during welding with loaded electricity, where the contact nozzle at least partially comprises an electrically conductive material, and exhibits an axial passage (4) for the welding wire. The contact nozzle comprises a base body and an insertion body arranged in its receiving or at least its front area, where the insertion body comprises an electrically conductive material different from the electrically conductive material of the base body, preferably copper-chromium- and/or copper zirconium alloys. An independent claim is also included for the contact nozzle for the arc welding torch.
