摘要 <p>The method involves capturing an image of external influences by using an imager e.g. complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) imager (10), and recognizing and tracking light (20) produced by headlights of an oncoming vehicle, in the acquired image. The light is analyzed by recognizing dense periodic structures of the light and by determining beat frequency and/or violation using Nyquist Shannon scanning theorem during predetermined time. Control parameters of the imager are adjusted based on the recognized structures. An independent claim is also included for a device for automatically adjusting a control parameter of an imager for a driver assistance system.</p>
