<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a "horizontal stripe type" fuel cell, which has a support substrate hardly deformed by an external force acting thereon, and in which exfoliation of a fuel electrode embedded in a recess of the support substrate can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to respective cross-sectional shapes including each of straight lines L1 to L6 of a fuel electrode (a region shown by fine dots) embedded in a recess 12 formed on a principal surface of a plate-shaped support substrate, a relation of "E≤2.0*d" is satisfied. The value d is a maximum value of the length of "a region included in the fuel electrode on a normal line" when the normal line is drawn from "a part corresponding to an outside surface of the fuel electrode among the contour of the cross-sectional shape". The value E is a distance between a neutral straight line parallel to a reference straight line corresponding to the principal surface of the support substrate and bisecting the area of the cross-sectional shape and a deepest point most distant from the neutral straight line among parts located inside with respect with the neutral straight line in the contour of the cross-sectional shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
