<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine and an injection molding method that can simplify a configuration of a mold device. <P>SOLUTION: The injection molding machine 10 for foam molding of resin includes: a gas feeding mechanism 70 feeding gas to a cavity C1 formed between a first mold plate 32 and a second mold plate 44 in a clamped state; an injection apparatus 50 injecting foamable resin into the cavity C1 pressurized to have an air pressure higher than an atmospheric pressure by the gas feeding mechanism 70; and a gas releasing mechanism 80 releasing the gas inside the cavity C1 to an atmosphere during or after the injection of the foamable resin. The gas releasing mechanism 80 releases the gas inside the cavity C1 to the atmosphere via a gap G1 formed between an inner wall face 47a of a through-hole 47 penetrating through the first mold plate 32 or the second mold plate 44 and an outer peripheral face 61a of a mold member 61 inserted into the through-hole 47. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
