<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can recover neodymium from a product, into which a neodymium magnet is incorporated, at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The method is used for recovering neodymium from a product into which a neodymium magnet is incorporated, and includes: a crushing step of crushing the product; and an immersing step of immersing the crushed matter obtained by the crushing step into a dissolution solution including at least either an acid or ferric chloride.
