<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle charger and a vehicle charging method, which enable completion of charging by a charging-end time preset for each of vehicles as much as possible, and supply as much power as possible to each of vehicles, instead of charging to a full charge until the charging completion time. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle charger and a vehicle charging method are configured to perform: interrupting, upon detecting a connection of a vehicle to a vehicle charger for use in supplying pre-set power, charging of a vehicle being supplied with power; identifying a period in which provisional charging periods are overlapped; managing charging timings of individual vehicles so as not to reduce power to be supplied to the individual vehicles; completing charging by a pre-set charging completion time for an individual vehicle as much as possible; supplying as much power as possible to individual vehicles, instead of charging to a full charge until the pre-set charging completion time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
