<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a lithium secondary battery, having high piecing strength, a large breaking elongation, excellent winding performance, an excellent electrolyte retaining rate, and excellent resistance to lithium dendrite, and a lithium secondary battery using the separator. <P>SOLUTION: This separator for the lithium secondary battery comprises a wet type nonwoven fabric containing: an ultrafine fiber obtained by splitting a split type composite fiber in which ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer and polypropylene are adjacent to each other; and a beaten solvent spinning cellulose fiber, and the separator is used in the lithium secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
